NovaLead Pharma to exclusively use VLife's technologies for drug research


VLife Sciences Technologies Pvt. Ltd. today announced that it has signed an agreement with NovaLead Pharma Pvt. Ltd. by which NovaLead will exclusively use VLife’s technologies for its new chemical entities (NCE) and new indication programs. The agreement covers licensing of customized technologies from VLife based on the NewEdge™ platform. Under this agreement VLife shall develop and support special technology products designed for NovaLead Pharma’s research goals.

VLifeMDS™ 3.5 and VLife's patented technology GQSAR have been licensed at Department of Biotechnology, IIT Madras, for conducting research in drug and molecular discovery and for training the best minds in the country on computer aided drug discovery.
   

Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh has licensed VLifeMDS™ 3.5 to be used for research and training. Researchers, faculties and students at the institute will use the software for variety of computer aided drug discovery work. The software will also be used extensively for imparting knowledge and training to the students of the institute.
 

Events: Silicon India Startup City, Bangalore


VLife participated in the Startup City 2009 organized by Silicon India at Bangalore. The event was attended by leading investors, technocrats, business experts and young professionals. VLife presented its technology capabilities, innovations and achievements in the healthcare focused track at the conference. VLife's exhitibition booth evoked keen interest from the attendees who had a wide range of queries about the technology as well as computer aided drug design process. VLife was adjudged the best start-up in this track at the event.
